Character building

Our students develop the characteristics of Ebadur-Rahman through hadith and sunnah. Seerah stories will help children to connect and develop a love for our prophet Mohammed SAW. Our students will learn how he was able to excel in every action he did to be able to act on the sunnah of our Prophet. Our students will be motivated to try to act and behave like him through guided activities and projects.

Love of Allah

Interesting explanations with loads of examples from science, nature, and our life experiences will in sha Allah make it easier for our students to understand attributes of Allah. My inspirational and motivational drive comes from the following saying ” Abu Hurayrah (R.A), reported that the messenger of Allah (S.A.W), said : “when a man dies, his deeds come to an end except for three things: ceaseless charity, a knowledge which is beneficial, or a virtuous descendant who prays for him”(Muslim)

Parents-Gateway to Jannah

Our students start to understand the depth of parents' love for them and feel truly blessed and loved, and get inspired to be the one that reaches Jannatul-Firdaus through earning parents' pleasure. Our students get professional guidance on managing anger, aggression, and negative feelings and wrong assumptions about parents.

Our students also learn etiquettes of discussions, arguing, talking back with parents. Our students realize why it is impossible to repay our parents. Our students become grateful to their parents, help mom in house chores and be motivated to leave their desires to please their parents. Get practical tips to be patient with siblings. Children will understand parents' expectations and realize that their bad actions can cause so much pain for parents.

The kingdom of Allah

The children study science as the study of the creation of Allah (swt) and build a strong foundation of science with an Islamic perspective. Develop awareness about Muslim scientists and get inspired by their achievements and contributions.

Discover the power of Salah

Our students discover the power of salah and realize its need & consider prayer as a special gift from Allah- A personal meeting time with Allah. By understanding the conversation that they do with Allah in prayers, In sha Allah our students will be able to improve punctuality, regularity, and khushoo in prayers.

Our students will reflect on why do we pray; the success that Salah brings. They get motivated with the reward of Salah (Farz, Sunnah, & nafl), strive to avoid laziness/delaying/leaving the prayer. Get inspired to pray at school, through the stories from the life of Prophet(saws) and Sahaba(r.a.a).

Ayesha Arjumand Nayeem

Ayesha Arjumand Nayeem is the lead educator in EbadurRahman School who is a Hafiz-e-Quran. She also holds Bachelors degree in Islamic studies, M. A (Childhood Education),M.Eng (Oil & Gas Engineering,MUN,and pursuing Masters in Eductional Technology (MUN).

Khadijah Fatima Sayeda

I am a certificate Tajweed Teacher and also hold a Bachelor’s in Psychology. I am also a passionate artist who does Arabic Calligraphy with Acrylic and watercolour mediums. Arabic calligraphy has helped me understand Quran and find a personal connection with Allah S.W.T As an artist whose passion for art aligns with teaching, my goal is to bring creativity and artistic abilities into the field of teaching to make it fun and colourful for the students. I believe in letting the students enjoy and explore learning.

Mardia Shibli

BBA (MUN). MEd. (Ongoing). I am a dedicated teacher of ebadurrahman school. I teach our class one students. I have been involved with ebadurrahman school from the beginning. I hold an undergraduate degree and currently pursuing masters degree in Educational technology at Memorial University of Newfoundland. My hobby is to spend time reading books to children. I believe one of the best way to show kindness is through spreading knowledge. Islam encourages to gain knowledge which is evident through the following hadith " Talabul 'ilmi faridatun 'ala kulli muslimin wal muslimat". It is fard to gain knowledge (Islamic) for every muslim man and women. Therefore it is both an opportunity and a blessing for me to teach kids and spread Islamic knowledge which will help to build a strong Muslim ummah in sha Allah.

Arsheen Juveria

M.A. (English Literature), B.Ed, Hyderabad, India. Diploma in TEFL (USA) I have been teaching ESL for 15 years. Currently working as an ESL teacher in Manar Al Batin International School (Saudi Arabia). I am keen to impart Islamic knowledge to the young children of Ebadur Rahman School with the overall intention to earn Allah’s pleasure and approval.

Sumaira Masood

My name is Sumaira Masood, and I am very excited to be a part of Ebadur-Rahman Islamic online school. I am looking forward to another fun year packed with lots of new learning. I have taught Qur’an and Islamic Studies for the past ten years to students at various levels starting from Pre-K through high school, and Alhamdulillah I have enjoyed every bit of it. I have a bachelor’s degree in Electronics & Communications Engineering. I am also a Islamic Online University student pursuing my sixth semester in Bachelor of Islamic Studies, which has given me a strong foundation in Islamic and Qur’anic Studies. I am certified in Tajweed at an intermediary level and currently pursuing advanced level. I hope and pray that my education and experience help bring the best in me and nurture my students and help them become better Muslims of tomorrow.

A masters degree holder in Statistics, certificate holder in ESL teaching. Currently working on certification toward psychology. Special interest in storytelling and had been telling stories to children for over 10 years. Writing, poetry, and blogging is my hobby. Working on English curriculum in Pakistan and actively engaged in Urdu/English voiceover for children stories.

Zareen Asim

M. Sc (Mathematics), B. Ed (Mathematics and Physics), M. Ed - Pakistan, M. Ed (Curriculum, Teaching and Learning Studies - Mathematics) - MUN, NL. I am a teacher by heart and by profession. Teaching is my passion and I have been teaching high school Mathematics since the past 17 years. I have taught in Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, and now I am working as a high school Mathematics and Science teacher in Canada, AlhamdulilAllah. Teaching is the profession of prophets and this fact is a driving force behind my love for teaching. I believe in making a difference in my students' lives which is not only going to help them succeed in this life but more importantly in the life hereafter. "The best of you are those who learn the Quran and teach it" (Sahih Al Bukhari), may Almighty Allah make us amongst his beloved servants, Ameen.

Ruqoyah Yusuf-Adekoya

As a homeschooler mum with more than 8 years of teaching Quranic education to my precious children, my love for children, the passion for teaching and the eagerness to inspire and make progressive difference in children’s lives made me choose teaching as a profession . Being an Islamic teacher is especially fulfilling as it’s enabling me to make positive contributions to shaping the world of tomorrow by helping to raise the future scholars and ambassadors of the Muslim ummah.
